Saturday, March 8 – 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm 
Spend the afternoon learning about American Kestrels! In this workshop, led by Cascades Raptor Center and Mt. Pisgah staff, you will discover unique adaptations of North America’s smallest falcon, learn their identifiers, take a guided walk to see Kestrels onsite (optional), and have some fun creatively engaging with the species.
 
All skill levels welcome! The workshop includes illustrated American Kestrel handouts and art materials and use of binoculars will be provided. This workshop is great for families (Ages 6 and older) as well as teens and adults. Youth under the age of 14 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
*Workshop will be held at Mt. Pisgah Arboretum. Advanced registration required.
