Taylor joined the Cascades Raptor Center resident care team as a trainer and educator at the start of 2024. He developed a career in animal care, conservation, and environmental education through a variety of accredited zoological facilities all over the country before joining us for his first real time spent living in Oregon. He got his bachelor’s degree in zoology in 2016 from Southern Utah University and began his master’s program in conservation biology through Project Dragonfly’s Advanced Inquiry Program only a few years before joining our team. When he’s not at work Taylor enjoys spending his time outdoors birding, hiking, or camping, or doing anything with close friends.
