Cascades Raptor Center is proud to announce its second Raptors of the Pacific Northwest Art Challenge and Exhibition celebrating raptor-themed art.
Applications for the juried exhibition are cost free and open to all Oregon artists 18 years of age or older. We welcome submissions from a wide variety of mediums!
Please read the submission guidelines and exhibition information before applying. Submissions must include a completed entry form, artwork submitted digitally, and be received by December 21, 2025.
Art Exhibition Overview
Cascades Raptor Center aims to promote and ensure the wellness of birds of prey and foster a greater appreciation for the role wildlife plays in the natural and cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest. We believe artwork can be an effective way to build connections with local wildlife and raise public consciousness around key issues impacting the natural world.
The Raptors of the Pacific Northwest exhibition will provide an opportunity to highlight birds of prey in our community and the Oregon landscape while celebrating the talent of our local artists. Together, the exhibition will build creative avenues for the community to connect with native raptor species, introduce a variety of artists spanning generations and mediums, invoke a sense of outdoor wonder, and inspire viewers to discover more about raptors and the vital roles they play in Oregon.
Artwork will be juried and a selection of artists will have their work on display in the Raptors of the Pacific Northwest exhibition at the Emerald Art Center in Springfield in February 2026.
